June is National Adopt A Shelter Cat Month!

Cats & kittens from the Wayne County Humane Society will be available for adoption to furever homes this month at Kincaids in Fairfield.

The Wayne County Humane Society has reduced their $25 cat adoption fee to just $15 for this special event.

ARF has also increased their spay/neuter discount coupon to $25 for ALL shelter cats & kittens adopted in June to Wayne County residents.

Kincaids will also provide a free bag of cat food with every cat or kitten adoption.

Two feline friends are better than one.  Please consider saving two lives. Cats require exercise, mental stimulation and social interaction. Two cats can provide this for each other.

It is unfortunate that our local shelter is forced to put down 100's off cats & kittens every year simply due to a lack of homes.  To help end this pet over population crisis, please spay & neuter your cats, neighborhood community cats, farm cats & feral cats.  Every litter born contributes to this problem.  ARF can help!  Simply visit www.arfcares.org or leave a message at 618-842-5584 for spay/neuter discount coupons for cat & dogs.

Animals Requesting Friends is an all volunteer, not-for-profit, publicly supported, non-facility Humane Society founded to prevent the over breeding of cats and dogs by providing educational materials, and financial assistance to pet owners for the purpose of spaying and neutering their pets in order to prevent the birth of unwanted animals and their eventual suffering.

Altered animals don't contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, so fewer animals end up homeless, in shelters or on the streets
